The state of Utah is in another battle with a Federal agency, the US Army Corps of Engineers, over a highway project in St. George. The Utah Department of Transportation project has built a few bridges of dry washes, (dry rivers that have water in them after it rains a lot). The USACE has postponed the project until the USACE can determine the effects that building over these dry washes will have on water sources.(KSL)
