What Do You Think???

Hey guys! First off I want to say that I'm soooo impressed with the effort and time that everyone has put in to the GRC this year so far.  This has already been an unprecedented year in GRC history at USU. :) Wahoo!

We got 910 students registered to vote this month!
Everyone give yourself a big pat on the back, and sleep in 10 minutes later tomorrow to commend your efforts.  Seriously you guys, I'm thrilled at how well we did.

I am really interested in hearing from you guys what you think so far.  I'd love for you guys to post some feedback here.  You can do so anonymously if you want to.  I'd love to hear:

1. What you guys think so far about meetings/events/initiatives that we've had.

2.  What goals you want us to accomplish as a council this year.

3.  If you feel comfortable and understand what your position entails in regards to the GRC, and if you need additional help with your jobs.

4.  Ideas you guys have for initiatives/ projects we can work on as a council.

5. Anything else that you want to say! Are you bored at meetings, do you think we're being effective? What can we do to help you out? What can we do better?

I mean it when I say it, I think you guys are awesome! If you don't want to comment publicly here, feel free to email or text me! :)

Announcements for this week (these were also emailed to you!):
- We've got some awesome projects coming up, including our Political Action Day on October 25th and Candidate Information Sheets in association with Pi Sigma Alpha... More info to come.

- At our meeting last Thursday, Jordan (our CVTD Rep) mentioned his survey in regards to improving the Aggie Shuttle System. If you could all take 3.5 minutes to do it, it would be a huge help! The link for that is HERE.  Also, if you're interested in helping him out individually with CVTD and Envision Cache Valley initiatives, please contact him at hunt.jordan@gmail.com.

- This Thursday will be our last 'open' meeting, so to speak.  This means that after this week, we're going to be closing off the council to new members so that we can be more effective as a group.  We're also going to start working on name tags and t-shirts.  If you (or your friends) haven't been attending our Thursday meetings or contributing to the council at all and would like to still be part of the GRC, please email me or Brent ASAP and we'll get things figured out!
